As a champion for taxpayers, Chuck will fight tirelessly for balanced budgets by being a wise steward of the city’s finances and acting in the best interest of everyday citizens.
Care for People
As a lifelong resident, Chuck cares deeply for the city of Oceanside and its residents. He is a Founding Member of the Oceanside Charitable Foundation and made strides for gang prevention as a part of the TKF Foundation.
Charles "Chuck" Lowery was born and raised in Oceanside, graduated from Oceanside High School and went on to MiraCosta College and San Diego State University. He founded his own successful wholesale bakery business in Oceanside and employed twenty people. This led him to understand the vital role that entrepreneurs and small businesses play in creating prosperity for our community. Chuck is an active Board Member of the Oceanside Charitable Foundation, where he chairs the Grants Committee. He's also a Board Member of the Tariq Khamisa Foundation, whose mission is to teach nonviolence in local schools. He served as City Council member where he fought for middle-class jobs, fiscal responsibility, public safety, and quality of life for all Oceanside residents.
