What Chuck Stands for
Chuck is the only candidate for City Council who has started a manufacturing business and created jobs right here in Oceanside. Chuck knows how to meet a payroll and balance a budget. With thirty-five years business experience, Chuck will put his business skills to work on the City Council supporting small businesses and attracting new companies to grow the economy.
Cut Wasteful Spending
As a champion for taxpayers, Chuck will fight tirelessly for balanced budgets by being a wise steward of the city’s finances and acting in the best interest of everyday citizens. Chuck will use his business skills to identify waste at City Hall and invest the savings into stronger, safer neighborhoods.
Champion For Neighborhoods
A lifelong Oceanside resident, Chuck knows that from our vibrant small businesses to our tightly-knit communities, Oceanside neighborhoods deserve a stronger voice at City Hall. Chuck led the effort to restore fire protection and improve emergency response times for safe neighborhoods. And Chuck is leading the fight to oppose the Gregory Canyon Landfill, a garbage dump that threatens the quality drinking water Oceanside businesses and families rely on.
Chuck Lowery was born and raised in Oceanside, graduated from Oceanside High School and went on to MiraCosta College and San Diego State University. This led him to understand the vital role that entrepreneurs and small businesses play in creating prosperity for our community. Chuck is an active Board Member of the Oceanside Charitable Foundation, where he chairs the Grants Committee. He's also a Board Member of the Khamisa Foundation, whose mission is to teach nonviolence in local schools. He served as City Council member where he fought for middle-class jobs, fiscal responsibility, public safety, and quality of life for all Oceanside residents.
